BEACH SHOWERS Conveniently located on the main deck and the Beach Club, our beach showers provide that all important quick wash off point. BOUTIQUE If you’re seeking a little retail therapy, be sure to visit our boutique open from 7.00am – 7.00pm each day. Our boutique features a selection of quality resort wear, essential toiletries, batteries, and mementos. BUSINESS FACILITIES For your convenience, complimentary internet and web based email access are available within the Beach Club at Wedgerock Bay. If you have your own device, complimentary WiFi is available in the guest lounge and bar. CHECK-OUT Check-out time is 11.00am. Details of check-out procedures will be delivered to your Villa the evening prior to your scheduled departure. Should your Villa not be ready for arriving guests, we will do everything we can to extend your check-out time. CREDIT FACILITIES All products and services purchased at Bedarra may be charged to your account and settled by one payment on check-out. All major credit cards and travellers’ cheques are accepted. However, we are not able to accept personal cheques. DRESS STANDARD Take advantage of the tropical environment and dress lightly and comfortably. To show courtesy to our guests, we request footwear and a shirt be worn in the restaurant area. EMERGENCIES In the event of an emergency, please contact the following for immediate attention: 7.00am - 7.00pm (Reception - Dial 9) and between 7.00pm - 7.00am (General Manager - Dial 261 or 235). A fire extinguisher is located in each Villa. In the event of an evacuation, please report immediately to Wedgerock Bay where your attendance will be recorded. FACSIMILES Our Reception staff will send outgoing faxes on your behalf. Incoming faxes will be delivered to your Villa. Ask Reception about the fees that apply. GYMNASIUM Our compact gymnasium will keep you looking and feeling great. The gym is open 24 hours a day and is located at Wedgerock Bay within the Beach Club. LIBRARY Our library is located behind the bar. Please help yourself to a novel or choose from our range of informative reference material and DVDs. The Australian postal service operates Monday to Friday. Incoming mail will be delivered to your Villa, whilst outgoing mail may be left at Reception. Please note that there may be unusual delays because of our remote location. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE Should you require medical assistance at any time, or in the event of an emergency, please contact one of the following for immediate attention: 7.00am – 7.00pm (Reception - Dial 9) and between 7.00pm – 7.00am (General Manager - Dial 261 or 235). In extreme situations we have 24-hour contact with the Royal Flying Doctors. MESSAGES In your absence, telephone messages and facsimiles will be delivered to your villa and placed on the desk. If your privacy sign is displayed, they will be given to you when dining. MOBILE PHONES Due to our remote location, there is limited mobile phone coverage. Land-line telephones are available in your Villa. As a courtesy to other guests, we request mobile telephones to be switched off whilst in the Restaurant area. NEWSPAPERS & MAGAZINES A selection of local and national newspapers as well as current magazines are available in the Bar should you wish to catch up on the latest news of the world. RECEPTION Our Reception team is happy to provide assistance and information to make your stay more enjoyable. Please telephone them or visit the reception desk between the hours of 7.00am to 7.00pm daily. SECURING YOUR VALUABLES Complimentary security facilities are available in your Villa. We recommend you use this to store any valuables, cash or important documents during your stay. TELEVISION & DVD MOVIES An LCD television is available in your Villa for your enjoyment. Due to our remote location, reception is limited to selected TV stations and Austar channels. A selection of DVDs are also available in the library area. TENNIS Our tennis court is available for use throughout the day and is also floodlit for evening use. Rackets and balls are available from Reception. TIME DIFFERENCE Bedarra operates on Australian Eastern Standard Time (+9 hours Greenwich mean time) all year. There is no daylight saving in Queensland. |
